Like (grand)father like (grand)son

Updated: Nov 8, 2020

I've been meaning to do this ever since the young daughter of neighbour, who was wandering around the our kitchen where there is on the mantelpiece a picture of Kenneth's passport photo from his Spanish Civil War days, asked me why I had a black-and-white picture of William.

So today I took a picture of William in a matching pose and then manipulated the size of the resulting portrait to match the passport photo.

I'd love to hear what you think of the match. Opinion here is 'close, but not twins'. I hope someone writes in the comments.

That's right... not twins but there is quite a resemblance. (Once I posted the photos of my two grandfathers - and people were divided which one I match.)

Strong family resemblance but W is better looking, much better straight nose and more pleasing shape of mouth. Interesting exercise. Stephan.
