Mum's birthday came on a particularly sunny, warm, and pretty Orkney day. William and I took a bunch of flowers to the cenotaph.

It's a lovely and moving cenotaph - Angela and Kenneth were lucky to have to had such a dedicated son who is so attentive even posthumously. The pictures are, as always, super quality, and I always enjoy your Hup View blog enormously - for one thing, it transports me to a far away place and to far away times...
